The international annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign was launched by the Center for Women's Global Leadership (CWGL).
Activists started it during the grand opening of the Institute for Women's Global Leadership in 1991.

The start and end dates of the campaign were not chosen by chance: they symbolically link the fight against violence against women with the protection of human rights, emphasizing that any violence against a person, regardless of gender, is a violation of fundamental rights.

– 188 volunteers participated in the work of the humanitarian hub in Kyiv and community hubs in Lviv and Chernivtsi
– 31,672 humanitarian aid parcels were received by women from vulnerable groups
