It's disgenous to compare a F2P hero shooter with a $60 Fighting game and 2 mobile games and act surprised when they don't pull the same numbers. If it didn't have the Marvel IP Rivals would have NEVER been as popular see Fragpunk, Strinova & Highguard as examples of this.

Why isn't the Marvel IP enough to carry these other Marvel games in the market right now, btw?

The IP is 100% an introduction into a genre but then the game and how it presents itself to the market is just as important, Rivals, flaws aside, is a good game.

@DanHunter556 @centuryman2005 @Aramori_ No one is saying put the blame solely on him but you cant act like he wasn't the weakest link due to attitude and limited roster. If your OW GM DPS player says they cant play hitscan in rivals cause it doesn't feel the same and can only play like 3 DPS he should NOT be on DPS.

@DanHunter556 @centuryman2005 @Aramori_ They didn't do any better because they had a weak link on their team??? Surefour was the standout and trying do the work of 2 dps because Warn was useless and didn't just want to sit on support which would've helped immensely.

@angelicdrvg I heard a while back that those 15m restrictions aren't even real and are just to make it seem like they did something but I cant find any more proof on it now but even if they do something it seems like a slap on the wrist and I've never seen them escalate.

@angelicdrvg Yeah it always felt like rivals were playing were just looking for reasons to crash out or throw games and with some of the recent clips I've seen, it still seems to be a thing. I saw a clip of a guy getting called a monkey and the N word at the start of a game for 0 reason😭😭

@JackUtd3 @Collinpt21 Jay3 I haven't mentioned cause all he did afaik was vaguepost about warn saying he should have played more heroes which is valid ara and doki can both flex and surefour is very good dps so running 3 supports with warn being one of them is like not a bad idea at all.

@JackUtd3 @Collinpt21 Playing SG and Namor shouldn't have been a thing at all realistically as again he's a hitscan main in OW. He said he couldn't play hitscan in rivals cause it feels weird which is fair but if that's the case yeah put him on support as it requires the least skill to get value.

Not to mention rivals players will throw for the slightest inconvenience and call you every slur they can imagine.
