@PaulBrandITV@PaulBrand It would be useful for you to speak with those who were taking calls on the Covid help lines, who often took calls from care home staff who were trying to protect those in the care homes.
@thismorning Your guest questioned whether raising the state pension is the right thing to do! Please ask him if he could live on less than £190 per week!
@Catheri10967856@GMB@lucianaberger@thequentinletts I worked 48 years and paid in to my state pension. Without warning the eligibility age for me went from 60 to 66 so I had to keep working. I worked through times when my mortgage rate was 13-15%.I know what it is to work 60 plus hours a week for 35 hours pay.I am NOT on the take!

@GMB@lucianaberger@thequentinletts Why did neither Charlotte nor Adil challenge Quentin Letts when he referred to state pensioners as being “on the take from the state”? What a vile, insulting and incorrect comment!
@GMB@richardm56@susannareid100 Please realise that the triple lock for the state pension gives a rise in state pension equivalent to the inflation rate (about 10%) in September 22. By the time the state pension rise comes in Spring 2023, inflation is predicted to be 18% so an actual cut!
@GMB As usual @edballs embarrassed himself by making the topic all about him and desperately trying to be a comedian. Worse still, he directly asked Kate about her experience! It’s cringe-worthy!
@CharlotteHawkns@RobbieRinder@GMB I’m afraid you are wrong to say that we were told 2 Covid 19 vaccines would be enough or that 3 would be enough. It was made clear that this would be an ongoing battle.
@GMB The government broke its promise on the triple lock so the state pension rise is just 3.1%! Inflation rises to 9% and predicted to keep rising. With the soaring cost of living how are pensioners supposed to survive?
@GMB@richardm56 You are highlighting inflation issues. The government broke its promise on the triple lock and so the state pension rise is just 3.1% whilst inflation soars past 7% and is predicted to rise to 10%. How do pensioners survive with soaring costs?
@reallorraine I think from your comment on your show this morning you have misunderstood about the jab. Even when “double jabbed” you CAN still catch covid-19 and transmit it to others.
@Hermesparcels The tracker on the app told me my parcel was out for delivery all day yesterday but I waited all day and no attempt was made to deliver it. Your “contact us” bot cannot match my tracking number to my address. You need a HUMAN “contact us”!
