Everyone has been enjoying the sunshine and making the most of the new additional benches that we have had installed onto the pier. The perfect spot to sit back, relax and enjoy the views of our beautiful town in any weather. Funded from the Community Ownership Fund. #inveraray
COMMUNITY HALL UPDATE:
Thank you again to everyone who voted in the Community Hall consultation back in January.
Below is a summary of analysis of the responses from the consultation.
We appreciate any feedback, please email at [email protected].
The Pier has power!
After all the setbacks, we finally have had the electrical meter installed and we are lit up again
Thanks to @EON_SE_en , our electrician David Clark and @ssencommunity for all the hard work that was put in to allowing the pier to have power again.
#inveraray
UPDATE: We hope you all have been getting the chance to make use of the pier in this glorious weather.
We are still continuing to improve the pier. This week we had railing installed onto the slip making it safer to use.

¡New view of Inveraray bell tower!
Ringers visiting Inveraray this year can enjoy seeing the tower from the newly reopened pier. Great to see this historic facility available again. (@InspireAray)
Thank you to everyone who attended the reopening of the Pier. It was a truly special day to finally be able to walk on the cobblestone in the sunshine and it was fantastic to see boats, canoes and swimmers using the pier for its intended purposes.
After a decade or more of decay and being fenced off, Inverary pier has been re-opened by a vigorous community group. The local pipe band kicked off the celebrations. And the sun shined on Bonnie Argyll.
The club wish to extend our warmest congratulations and gratitude for the outstanding work and tireless dedication of community groups, sponsors and trades alike in seeing the refurbishment and reopening of our town's historic pier come to fruition on this day.
