@mshopkinsPJ @YEPeducation I like that you asked the learner to reflect on what they are proud of! This motivates the learner to realize that they have many accomplishments to be proud of from the past 9 weeks!
@godhianr_YEP@YEPeducation Great idea! I also completed a review of what we learned as well! In what format did your review take place? Orally, written, games, videos etc?
@marmst_YEP@YEPeducation I like that you included the learners accomplishments! Great way to wrap up your sessions with your learner feeling empowered! Great job!
@MsB_YEP @YEPeducation This is great! Do you mind sharing the name of the resource with me! I am trying to brush up on my math skills in preparation for the MPT! ๐
@meow_teachinkat@YEPeducation I like that you included final questions! This is a great way to wrap up the sessions! I hope your learner enjoyed her tutoring sessions! I'm sure she learned a lot!
This week marks our final lesson of the session! It has been a great 9 weeks with @YEPeducation. I learned so much that I will take with me on my teaching journey!
For our final session, we completed a review of everything we learned and I made a certificate for my learner! ๐
@4TheLoveToLearn@YEPeducation Thanks Jennifer! For the final lesson my learner would like to do a revision of the topics that we covered each week to go over any topics that she may have forgotten!
With our tutoring sessions winding down, I asked my learner if there was anything that she wanted to cover that we didn't get a chance to cover as yet! She requested learning the weather in French! With a recent storm, this lesson was very fitting! @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
@NaomiAngEd@YEPeducation I can see that you are understanding your learners needs! You are now incorporating words such as structured into your lessons! This shows that your learner is still at the foundational stage in her learning!
@mshopkinsPJ @YEPeducation I've never heard of the gradual release of responsibility model! Thanks for sharing! I gained some new insight this week! Where did you learn this model?
@godhianr_YEP@YEPeducation Were there any aspects that your learner disliked about using the app compared to the website? I know for me, sometimes its easier for me to find my emails and see what I am typing when I am viewing them on a larger screen.
@marmst_YEP@YEPeducation Great application! HDMI's are the most user friendly way to watch and stream content from your laptop! Smart TV's can be tricky to navigate and it can be frustrating to type on a remote! I'm sure your learner greatly appreciated this!
@TutorYep@YEPeducation This is something that I do as well! Its very beneficial for people who do not have Apple Music, Spotify, or other streaming services! The ads are the only downfall..
@MsB_YEP @YEPeducation This chart looks amazing! I enjoy the different colours as math can be a subject that is not as colourful as the rest. I can tell from your lesson that you are ready for your own classroom! Your future students are going to enjoy learning math with you! Great work!
@MsB_YEP @YEPeducation I like that you included a question about the difficulty level of the lessons. This helps you to understand your students learning needs better! If the student reported that the lessons were difficult then this allows you to adjust and tier your lessons accordingly.
@megan_baruch@YEPeducation Great job on incorporating an application question into your evaluation questions! This is a question that I did not apply to mine. I will definitely ensure to include this in the future.
Last week we completed a course evaluation! This week we completed a self-evaluation! After the evaluation, my learner reflected on how to improve her memory skills to ensure that she is remembering the concepts that we cover each week! @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
@marmst_YEP@YEPeducation I like that you included an application section! Applying knowledge to others areas is a very important skill and demonstrates that the learner has understood the concepts!
