Abuse is not just hurting someone. Abuse is exploitative & always intentional. Abusers don't take responsibility. Abuse is NEVER excusable.

Let's correct our language & our thinking. Hurt people don't hurt people. Abusers hurt people. Being hurt does NOT = being abusive. Experiencing abuse in childhood does not mean you grow up to be an abuser. Let's stop enabling & sympathizing with abusers. Abusers choose to abuse.

@DrEmmaKatz @jessradio Yes! Or family court does offer some reprieve with short term protection orders, & ordering some type of child counseling or some supervised access. Then if the children seem to be doing well, FC says Ah! The children are better now! We can send them back! (to the abusive parent)
