@BARAN110_Art And that’s totally okay, some people are just like that! I just wanted to give an analogy that worked for most cis people.
Your account actually further proves that gender is just a complicated spectrum. Reminds me of genderfluidness (I don’t wanna force a label on you, though).
@BARAN110_Art The reality is that us cis people will *never* know what gender dysphoria feels like. But we know it’s a real thing, so the most humane thing to do is trust the word of trans people and medical professionals. (3/3)
@BARAN110_Art Imagine if you, a cis person, were forced to present as the opposite gender. Crossdressing, makeup or facial hair (depends)… you’d hate it. I imagine it’s a similar feeling for trans people, but they also have to wrestle with the body they were born in. (2/3)
@Speedydog_ Agreed, it was great. It was only bad if you were required to watch the whole thing… which you weren’t, and idk why people acted like that was the case.
@alt_meem@Greenlight_96 No one’s forcing you to watch the whole thing??? Hell, you’re probably not MEANT to. Might be a thing where people who *are* tuning in share details of what’s happening. A drop-in, drop-out type deal.
@Guja3Run Feels weird to call it "wrong" in an objective sense, but I can understand why some would be uncomfortable with premarital sex. But it's fucked up to say the same about trans people- being trans isn't something you can control (look up "gender congruence") nor can you "cure".
@kysdalit I think it’s an important difference because one of them is a crime and the other is not. idk why I should be bothered by what these people do if it’s not illegal or harmful.
@Guja3Run I agree that pomato probably shouldn’t have snapped back like that, but quick correction: being transgender isn’t an ideology, delusion, mental illness, etc… it’s a real phenomenon back by research from major health organizations.
