Today's Pick: David Lindley - "Running on Empty" (Live, BBC, London, 1978)
Rise, tone chasers! That soaring lap steel turned Jackson Browne's road anthem into his.
@SergeantMartee@abathrowbacks That would have been epic. Lived the Big A. The Colonels were my first sports love. Still bitter about them folding all these years later.
@mrman23281832@erecasner@SergeantMartee Been dealing with that for a couple of years now. Glad I went to a doctor. On some meds and it's being managed but definitely a battle.
@TheOGfantasy@BerkOnPitch I was at work for this goal. A handful of us were together around watching the last few minutes. Most were casual fans except for my friend Gary. Huge die hard. We all got excited, but Gary lost his freaking mind. Biggest soccer fan I ever knew. Recently passed. RIP Gary
Kids got baseball practice for 2 hours, so I decided to pop in a local place for a cold quality adult beverage to kill some time. After listening to about 10 minutes of some conversations, it just drove home the point that there's some really stupid f****** people in this world.
@gguworld Hell of a performance. One of my favorite bands. I've seen them 4 times, and they've all been killer. First time was Just a Game tour 1979. I was 15 and was on the wall. Hand to God thought I was blind when they opened this show with all of the pyro. Fucking legends in my book.
@ctkatz8086@3YearLetterman Game was tied so no guarantee. Cards didn't score a single point in the second half. I love Bobby 1.0 and he definitely had them prepared but he got his head handed to him by Schiano after tge big lead.
