I’m an Autistic Conservative Christian who absolutely LOVES movies, TV shows, & books, and hopes to become an actor, voice actor, comedian, artist, & filmmaker.
Here’s the #1 piece of advice I’d give @Hasbro regarding the apparently unreleased episodes of “My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale”, whether completed or unfinished:
Hand the rights to release them off to a distributor who’d be willing to finish what was started.
@Animated_Antic The shareholders approved it, and whoever’s in-charge of these sort of things gave it the go-sign. The merger will happen, whether people like it or not. Warner Bros. was too debt-laden & mismanaged to keep going on its own forever anyway.
@Animated_Antic I will say this:
Mark Ruffalo was never one of my all-time favorite performers. I don’t think he’s a terrible actor, but I also don’t consider him the best either. However, I’m still excited about “Gatto”, and I’d love to see what Ruffalo will bring to his character.
…because what they do doesn’t benefit EVERYONE. In this case, the people who don’t subscribe to @netflix are left completely out of the equation, and their constant raising of subscription prices hardly make things any better for consumers.
Here’s perhaps the most controversial thing I’d like to say regarding @netflix:
Netflix’s exclusivity & streaming-first culture, which only benefits the company itself & subscribers, is not standard Capitalism. If anything, it’s really standard Socialism…
@Skydance Animation should consider diversifying itself in style & technique. They can’t always use computer-animation for every film they make, otherwise they’d get too predictable. Making hand-drawn animated projects would definitely help them stand out, that’s for sure.
In my opinion, the fact that @BradBirdA113’s “Ray Gunn” movie has to be released directly to @netflix is a crushing blow. Not only will it not be given a theatrical release, but the film’s availability will be completely restricted to the Netflix streaming service.
…rather than making it computer-animated instead. Not only would it have been a welcoming change of pace from the majority of animated features being computer-animated these days, but it would’ve been the perfect chance for @Skydance Animation to do something different.
