Jose Marcos Flores was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the UPR Mayagüez Campus in 2009 and received a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from @PurdueAeroAstro in 2014.

In this role he enabled the use of the latest generation control center facility in Houston which is currently used to support the ISS as well as upcoming crew missions.

Mr. Flores was selected to be a @NASAFltDirector in July of 2018.

She was the first female to become meteorologist in Puerto Rico. Her bachelors degree is in Mathematics with a masters in Meteorology, she started her career as a forecaster in the NMS.

She earned multiple awards, like Joanne Simpson Mentorship Award and the Silver Medal from the US Commerce Department.

Through her social media, Ada Monzón spreads awareness about the importance of science and meteorology. She is a role model and a inspiration for many.
