BLI has benefited from the World Bank-funded U Gift Program,receiving a fully equipped irrigation system for 2 acres.The system includes a pump unit,sprinkler unit, and reserve tanks.Thanks to the Luweero District local government for recommending BLI 4 this program.
A computer Lab is under construction @ BLI 2 support the research agenda. it will help trainees deepen their knowledge of integral ecology & develop essential computer skill. it will be equipped with high performance computers.
With support from APN and Fight 4 Sight, BLI conducted a workshop 4 representatives from over 15 organizations within the Diocese of Kasana-Luweero. The session focused on introducing participants to agroforestry and food systems designs tailored to the needs of the communities.
The BLI Curriculum Development Workshop (Jan 12-16, 2025) made significant progress in developing 2 Integral Ecology curricula: the NJCIE 4 students below S.4 & the NCIE 4 those who completed S.4. Most NJCIE content was finalized, with a roadmap for the NCIE.
