We're thrilled for the upcoming talk "A Life in Haiku: Masaoka Shiki in 1892," by Prof. Keith Vincent from @BUWorldLangLit. Learn more about Shiki, who coined the word "haiku," wrote more than 24000 of them and analyzed 1000s more. Thursday, Feb. 13, 5:00 p.m. in DIF009.

Dr. Vuic is the LCpl. Benjamin W. Schmidt Professor of War, Conflict, and Society in Twentieth-Century America at Texas Christian University. She is an esteemed author and contributor to historical dialogue surrounding war, gender, and the collective memory.
