I’ve spent 29 years fighting for LGBTQ rights. I’ve seen a lot of posts today from gay people worried about marriage equality. I’ve been warning people for 10 years not to rest on their laurels, but they largely did. Now I see panic.

But here’s the thing. Your Trans siblings are in deep trouble right now. We are the direct target of Trump’s Trans Nuremberg Laws. He’s trying to erase us, eradicate us, and make our lives a living hell.

It’s time to speak up for us like I’ve spoken up for all of you for the overwhelming majority of my life. Because here’s the thing, if we fall, you’re next.
