Earlier this summer, I detailed some of the top salaries in college baseball when MSU hired Brian O'Connor for $2.9M, annually. Tennessee's Tony Vitello was at $3M. At the time, LSU's Jay Johnson was at $1.793M.

He will now be the highest paid coach at $3.05M.

#LSU Fall Practice Report #9 Notes:

1. Garrett Nussmeier was at practice today and was wearing a compression sleeve on his leg. He was moving around in the pocket and had a scramble during 11v11.
2. Aaron Anderson also was wearing a compression sleeve but did not participate in 7v7 or 11v11.
3. Michael Van Buren had his best practice and threw a couple of red zone touchdowns.
4. Mansoor Delane had 2 INTs and a TFL. He was a standout today.
5. The second team offensive line struggled with penalties during 11v11.
6. Caden Durham and Ju’Juan Johnson were heavily utilized in red zone including in the wildcat.
