Thank you, @SecRollins and @USDA, for expanding investment in the Regenerative Pilot Program. Specialty crop growers are already advancing practices that strengthen farms and our food supply. We appreciate USDA recognizing that different crops and regions need flexible solutions.
🚨 USDA is making an additional $1 BILLION investment in the Regenerative Pilot Program in FY 2027, providing more producers with the opportunity to adopt conservation systems that improve soil health, water quality, and long-term farm resilience.
Producers can now apply for assistance with regenerative practices through their local @USDA_NRCS Service Center or visit https://t.co/j4tER3ActQ.

IFPA applauds the Administration’s work to reduce trade barriers with China for American fresh produce farmers. As @USTradeRep builds on this work, extending the suspension of Section 301 fees on Chinese vessels is another concrete step to support U.S. agriculture.
Today, Ambassador Greer issued a statement following the announcement of recommendations by the U.S.-China Board of Trade to facilitate balanced, non-sensitive trade between the two largest economies in the world.

Congratulations to Gregory Ibach on his nomination to be @USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs. IFPA encourages prompt Senate confirmation for this critical role supporting U.S. fruit and vegetable growers in global markets. https://t.co/HKUhtFmBDz
We appreciated the opportunity to meet with @SanfordBishop and discuss the importance of supporting Georgia’s fruit and vegetable growers and a strong fresh produce industry that helps feed families across the country.
Last week, I met with the International Fresh Produce Association. Georgia is a leading state for watermelon, blueberries, and cucumbers. We rely on specialty crop growers to supply fresh produce for hardworking families. However, USDA has not provided adequate support for our pecan, fruit, and vegetable growers.
Furthermore, due to the tumultuous firings of capable workers in our government agencies, there are not enough staff in place to handle the proper communications or investigations for food safety and nutritional guidance.
As a member of the Food Safety Caucus and top Democrat on the Ag-Rural Development-Food and Drug Administration Appropriations Subcommittee, I will continue to work both within my party and across the aisle to support the specialty crop industry and keep our food production safe.
20,000 attendees. 1,000 exhibitors. 3 days.
Now is the time to build your agenda — not the night before. The Global Show app gives you the exhibitor list, floor plan, sessions, and My Show Planner.
Download it and walk in with a plan! Available on iOS and Android.
