Too often tests designed for evaluative purposes become a thing that needs to be 'beaten' or 'passed'. We see so much stress - in students and parents - when the outcomes are low stakes and designed to help

I do think this will spark increasing confidence (from teachers, learners and crucially, parents) with accessing and promoting digital learning tech. I think little will change in the short term, but this saga will be seen as the start of significant changes in the future
True. For high stakes exams when fees are at a premium. Not for low stakes internal examinations - universities I think are trying to 'reduce the stakes' a little with regular lower stakes tests using this tech. A positive way forward for some.
