Danish study by Frisch and Simonsen that reported a 46% higher risk of autism in circumcised boys compared to uncircumcised boys. For infantile autism (a subset of ASD diagnosed before age 5), the risk was 83% higher in circumcised boys.

We live in an unjust world. Hypocrisy conceals all the evils behind a mask of normalcy. Most people agree that female #circumcision (FGM) is criminal behavior but have carved out an exception for MGM if the culprits claim it "may" have benefits for the boy. That's not EQUALITY.

Pediatricians have failed parents by trivializing this physical & psychological injury to the newborn boy. Those boys grow up & become men, bearing with them this ancient scar. No one knows the incalculable social harm of mutilating an entire nation of men behind their backs.

Severe bleeding from circumcision happens every day in the United States. Hospitals do not report such tragedies to any central health authority. The American Academy of Pediatrics therefore claims that the incidence of death and other complications from circumcision is unknown.
