Thankyou too @IntakePrimaryAc for inviting us to their parents evening. We spoke to parents about the service we offer and informed them how they can contact us for further support or advice via our Single Point of Contact or our Parent Plus eClinic #knowyourschoolnurse
Intake publishing house has had a busy week this week, publishing books written by year 6 children for children throughout KS1! They spent the afternoon sharing their stories- each child got a copy of the book to take home. A class full of authors- Miss Carr is so proud! 📚
Fun in Year 6 this afternoon, working collaboratively to create gingerbread houses! As you can see, some were more successful than others but everyone had a smile on their face! 🎄😊🏠🎅
Our year 5 students can now move their music notation skills from glockenspiels to keyboards thanks to a successful grant. Thank you #UMUKSoundFoundation. @astreaacademies
The Astrea Sumdog competition has been going on all week. Intake have been leading the pack the whole competition with 4 classes placing in the top 10!
Class 8 in 10th
Class 7 in 6th
Class 6 in 2nd
But the champions of the whole competition were CLASS 9!! Winners! 🏆🏅🥇@sumdog
An absolute privilege to accompany our teams to the #astreaactive#astreapromise Olympic Days at the @eissheff Both teams showed all of the Resilience, Determination and Teamwork that #teamintake prides itself upon! 2nd place as well! 🥈
Our last breakfast club for year 6 @IntakePrimaryAc! As always, a great turn out! Not sure if it’s for the additional learning time or the Caramel and Oreo spreads on their bagels 😂🥯
Amazing to officially share that we had a Section 8 inspection in January and we continue to be a good school. So proud of Team Intake. https://t.co/9SwcIGRfED
Story time this week at Intake 📚Year 6 pupils shared their books, ‘The Day the Classroom Quit,’ based on @OliverJeffers The Day the Crayons Quit! We think they’re the perfect sequel 😊
We’ve only been in school a morning, and already we are producing incredible things. Banksy inspired artwork by Class 7 pupils, Aiden and Ella, symbolising coronavirus and lockdowns!
