On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga-2026, Sector HQr, Jorhat & 119 Bn observed the even on 21/06/2026 with the theme “ Yoga for Healthy Ageing” at Sector HQr. Loc. Jorhat. Shri P.R. Jambholkar, IGP, all senior Officers, SOs & Jawans participated in the Yoga.

On 18/06/2026 Sh. P.R. Jambholkar, IGP, Ops, CRPF, Jorhat visited 68 Bn Loc. Tinsukia. After receiving a Guard of Honour, he assessed operational preparedness and also visited the camp loc and appreciated the efforts made by unit Comdt & Jawans.

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2026, 142 Bn on 14/06/2026 a Blood Donation Programme was organized by 142 Bn, CRPF at HQr loc. at Golaghat to promote voluntary blood donation and humanitarian service. The Chief Guest, Shri P. R. Jambholkar, IG (Ops), CRPF Jorhat Sector.

186 Bn CRPF does not wait for World Blood Donor Day to serve humanity. A jawan of 186 Bn donated blood at Zonal General Hospital, Tezu for an 8-month pregnant woman of Namsai suffering from severe Anemia. Our personnel donate blood as and when needed. _Seva Hi Sankalp.

इंटर बटालियन ट्रायथलॉन प्रतियोगिता-2026 का सफल आयोजन 149 बटा. मुख्यालय, में संपन्न हुआ। जॉरहाट सेक्टर (ऑप्स) की 12 बटालियनों ने जोश, अनुशासन और खेल भावना का उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया। श्री अशिष यादव, कमांडेंट, 149 बटा. ने प्रतिभागियों का उत्साहवर्धन कर उन्हें शुभकामनाएं प्रदान कीं।

​DG @crpfindia, Shri G. P. Singh, IPS, on his 3 days operational tour of Manipur, visited D/102 Bn RAF, C/129 & B,D/157 at Tuibong, Churachandpur.
​From reviewing critical infrastructure to a vital 'Samvad' with the troops, the focus remains absolute: operational readiness, health, and welfare. He also told the troopers to give their best to maintain normalcy in their area of responsibility. Later, DG, joined the troopers for high tea.

On the first day of his 3 day tour to Manipur, DG, #CRPF, Shri G. P. Singh, IPS, visited D/8 at Gelmol in Bishnupur. After reviewing infrastructure and meeting stakeholders, he held a vital 'Samvad' with the troops to emphasize welfare & operational readiness.
The action taken by troops during the camp attack was duly appreciated with assurance that all bonafide steps taken by them will be given full protection and support. The visit concluded with a shared high tea.

On 02/06/2026 142 Battalion, CRPF conducted a weapons exhibition for the cadets of the 12th Assam Battalion NCC at JNV Chinatoli, Golaghat, Assam. Various weapons were displayed and their technical features and operational aspects were explained to the cadets.

DG and all Ranks of #CRPF pay solemn tribute to SI/GD O. Yohannan of 35 Bn, who made the supreme sacrifice while bravely combating extremists near Patna, Bihar on 3 June 1975. Displaying exceptional leadership and gallantry during a fierce encounter, he led his platoon with courage and determination. In this encounter 12 extremists were eliminated. For his conspicuous bravery and valour, he was posthumously awarded the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry. #CRPF salutes the braveheart and pledges never to let his sacrifice go in vain.

Under the guidance of DG CRPF, Shri G. P. Singh, IPS, the Welfare Directorate continues its dedicated efforts toward the well-being of all Force personnel.
​Since October 2025, the CRPF has consistently ensured the 100% issuance of Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) for all superannuating personnel. This month, the Force achieved a milestone by clearing a record-breaking 439 PPO cases—the highest ever achieved to date.
​Behind every PPO is a family awaiting financial security and peace of mind after years of dedicated service to the Nation. Ensuring pension benefits from the very first day of retirement is more than an administrative milestone; it is a reflection of the Force’s deep commitment to the dignity of its personnel.
​We extend a heartfelt salute to all #CRPF DDOs and the PAO teams. Your hard work, seamless coordination, and perseverance in resolving even the most complex cases continue to bring relief and reassurance to our retiring personnel and their families.
