So many hard-working entrepreneurs and business owners now have to start from scratch or have no hope of even starting anything again because of some people's lack of education, poverty. Horrible cycle ๐
I am deeply concerned over reports of violence in Lagos and urge the Nigerian government to engage in peaceful dialogue with the #EndSARS protestors for police reform and an end to corruption.
Everyday innocent people are dying. The disregard and lack of value for human life is astounding. You won't even acknowledge them? Because u don't know them? Because the tears of their mothers and fathers don't matter to u? U're wicked. History and posterity will judge u harshly!
I know it's not only a good thing, but extremely necessary to compensate victims. At the end of the day, our goal is the same. I even voted for a rep ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ I just don't want them to taint these amazing people. Anyway, we move. We always move #EndSARS#ReformNigeria
Everybody's blood is hot and I don't see how the government is not equipped enough to transparently bring perpetrators to book and compensate the victims for EVERYONE to see. This is how I feel about it. It doesn't mean it won't work. It definitely could, but this is my opinion.
I just heard according to UN Constitution any protests that reaches 30days will make UN intervene in that country.
The Nigeria Govt knows this.
Many young people donโt know it.
EXCEPT the govt makes visible tangible immediate changes, #EndSARS protests MUST GO ON.

We strongly oppose oppression, brutality & intimidation. We believe a fair and impartial police force is a critical element of a stable society, & that abuse of power infringes on peopleโs democratic & human rights. We urge a speedy resolution to the current situation. #EndsSARS
After meetings with the President, IGP, Lagos CP and the NGF today, I will like to sรฒrรฒ soke about what we are immediately doing in Lagos to build trust, #EndPoliceBrutality and ensure we don't have to address these issues again.
