@mallorytownmel @cathmckenna As a single working mom, 35 years ago, I was never offered a choice that made life easy. It costs a pile of money to get into politics, so I believe they should go to work unless sick. I am sure if you looked at their contracts, they get sick days. I don't!

@cathmckenna If you run for office, you should know that you are expected to work in Ottawa and attend HoC. If this doesn't fit your lifestyle, maybe a different choice is needed. Having said this if people want to stay home, then maybe a cut in pay is needed, 180K to stay at home, a bit much
