The SGBV campaign continues through the different activities. @InterAidUganda SGBV team gives away reflector jackets to the boda boda riders at Guterres community center in the campaign against Sexual Gender Based Violence.

In conjunction with Kawala Health Center IV, @InterAidUganda is continuing to support both the urban refugees and the host community to improve their health status. @InterAidUganda donated medicines to Kawala Health Center IV to boast access of health care services.

@InterAidUganda joins Uganda and the whole world to commemorate World Aids Day at Kayunga district under the theme; “EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO CHAMPION THE END OF NEW HIV INFECTIONS.”

We had a two days meeting with children supported with school fees by InterAid Uganda and their parents. This was to educate them on the importance of education. Both parties; the parents and the children have roles and responsibilities to play.

Matches organized by Soccer for social impact together with @InterAidUganda are ongoing at Nsambya play ground. These matches are meant to create a peaceful coexistence amongst these children in nsambya community since they are both refugee and ugandan children.

The SGBV awareness campaigns still continue to challenge violence against men,boys,women and girls. The campaign took place in Bondeko and the objective was to inspire community members to prevent and respond to sexual and gender based violence by using the SASA methodology.

Group counseling at Kitebi primary school where many of the refugee children go to school. The school adolescents were given free group counseling and discussions on Reproductive Health, bullying in school and moral behavior in both school and back home.

In 2019 @InterAidUganda is embracing the Community Based Protection Strategy or approach of taking services nearer to Refugees & Host community. Especially the PoC who have difficulties in accessing services at Public, Private, faith based centers & Inter Aid Program office.

Nile Humanitarian Development Agency through @OPMUganda and @InterAidUganda yesterday donated cows for the urban refugees in the different communities as away of celebrating EID ADHUHAR with them. Happy EID ADHUHAR to all our esteemed clients.
