He reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to caring for, assisting, and pursuing durable solutions for displaced populations in Thailand, as well as underscored the importance of robust displacement data for evidence-based policymaking and sustainable self-reliance promotion for displaced persons. DDG Cataleya @InterOrgMFAThai co-chaired the Tripartite Committee Meeting under the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework #UNSDCF with NESDC and UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand. She reiterated MFA’s readiness to continue working closely with relevant agencies to advance the implementation of the UNSDCF. The Meeting adopted the draft Results Framework for the 2027 - 2031 UNSDCF to support Thailand’s continued progress towards the #SDGs. (26 May 2026)

DPM/FM @SihasakPh attended the UNSC Open Debate on “Upholding the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter and Strengthening the UN-Centered International System” at the @UN in New York, held under China’s Presidency of the UNSC for the month of May 2026. He underscored the importance of upholding the UN-centered international system and put forward three key priorities: fostering collective responsibility among Member States, advancing UN reform, and promoting regionalism and mini-lateral coop. that complements the United Nations system.
