A new £7 million shared community space has opened in west Belfast, replacing 30 meters of peace wall on the former Finlay's factory site. The Black Mountain Shared Space facility aims to foster cross-community engagement and provide a base for joint programming.

We have invested over £9m in the Peace Barriers Programme delivering a range of confidence and relationship building interventions to help residents reach a position where they feel it is safe and appropriate to proceed with the removal of peace barriers in their area.
