Started watching cricket is a hard question because I don't remember when I started to watch as my father had shown me this sport when I was very young, probably the year might be from 2008 onwards
But my favourite Cricketer was MS Dhoni and Virender Sehwag, everyone was my favourite but these two were more special to me, and Sehwag i used to hear about his destructive batting from my dad every single day and Dhoni was just amazing to watch bat

The only thing sad about that World Cup was for Dhoni and Rohit, genuinely they tried their best and especially feeling sad for Jadeja, but never I will say what Kohli and Dinesh did was justifiable...
Especially Kohli, I am his fan, but what he did that World Cup was just dumb, he didn't choose Rayuda for No.4 and then also went on to take two WK Batsman in the Playing XI
The weakness was clear but still the insane start that the openers gave, we were saved, but as soon as the pitch got difficult and the openers went for cheap, the entire team collapsed and the weakness was wide open for everyone to see..

@Vipintiwari952 If he's able to fix such issues then he's a big asset for our team, but at the end everything depends on his hunger, even if the issue seems small that's enough to finish him, he must be humble and ready to do anything to keep his form

@CricCrazyJohns What Irfan said at the end is absolutely spot on, the presence of mind that Surya showed was brilliant and because of which we have that World Cup in our hands.
That day we had both Luck and Skills which helped us get the victory 🙌

With Shreyas coming in it was going to be difficult for Rutu and Sanju to be in the squad, and Shubman is the captain so he's naturally in, but there's a small problem if Gill doesn't play right then this Favouritism might fire back and may pressure BCCI to remove him, hopefully their favouritism doesn't end his career...

@SelflessCricket Yeah this format of ICC Tournaments will actually help cricket in ways more than this, but the question remains is for T20 cricket, because it just randomly evolves, will it be fair to have a 4 year gap for it? And if it doesn't then again the situation remains the same

Ig people have started to get memory issues, or the pr work is extremely strong, how can some people say that pant didn't get any chances, he was the player to get the most chances among all, despite his continuous failures he was still pushed into the playing XI, but he failed miserably except in the Test scene, the fact is except Sanju, we didn't have any proper wicket keeping batsman, tbh even sanju is farfetched

Yeah what ash said isn't wrong, the anticipation for world Cup matches have reduced drastically, somewhere people are more interested in League Matches than ICC Tournaments, which is really bad for the international cricketing scene
But about matches of India with smaller nations, that is quite the opposite for me, i am really excited to watch those matches as Afghanistan has shown that anything can happen at anytime, so yeah I am looking forward for that

The problem with Shubman is that he's just unlucky, wherever he plays, whatever spot he plays, there's always a better player than him, for T20 now we have a set opening in the form of Sanju and Abhishek, and in case of No.3 there's Tilak and Ruturaj, for No.4 there's Shreyas Iyer
If shubman has to be added in the squad then he has to rewrite the way he plays
