Decades from now, @Ginkgo will be recognized as the Intel of our time.
It is a transformational infrastructure company that builds foundational products that go on to reshape the entire world.
Buckle up 🚀 cc @jrkelly
I have just received definitive evidence that a large, publicly traded and well know syn bio company in the space is a SCAM - a literal Theranos 2.0
If you retweet this I will consider publishing the proof
“That's what Twist is doing for…the biology startup community. They're your DNA cloud infrastructure where you get started, the silent partner behind your quest for product-market fit, & the robot factory that scales with you, as you grow like Ginkgo.”

I predict that the first cultured meat 'killer use case' will come from growing exotic foods and selling them as delicacies at very high prices.
There are definitely enough crazy rich people out there who would buy scrambled Wooly Mammoth eggs just to show off!

Every other founder I meet is moving to NYC. Center of gravity is shifting north. Can’t wait to see more collaboration in synbio from tech in NYC and bio in Boston! 🌇

"X doesn't grow on trees" ... biology is so much better at manufacturing than any human-invented tech that we use it as an idiom for free and abundant. if we all do our job well in synthetic biology everything will grow on trees.
I usually don’t dedicate newsletter issues to specific companies, but this week is an exception. Here is your Sunday read on one of my favourite companies in the world, @TwistBioscience: the DNA API.
