I'm delving into mostly Christianity, to better understand how people form their views on life, death, Heaven, Hell & now the Resurrection. Wish me luck.
@StevanBolton@lmcsomewhere@godlywomanhood New Testament written 'entirely' by celibate men?
Just wondered where you got that from?
Can you provide some information id be interested to see that.
@XionDevGroup@MikeWingerii Who dictates to Christians what they think?
The statement sounds very broad and like Christians are some sort of minority sect, that are being beaten up by the cool kids at school.
Is there anything wrong with not believing in a God?
Why when you question a theist do you tend to get the oh you're an atheist reply as if it's a bad thing.
🤔
@BridgetSmi745@MikeWingerii Of course the bible calls out false teachings to hide themselves from those callings. Blind leading the blind springs to mind here.
I believe that publicly denouncing teachers like Mike Winger who clearly do this to make money on their platform is actually a good thing. Money makes people blind.
I believe that publicly denouncing teachers like Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn is actually GOOD for the sake of evangelism.
When the watching world sees that we denounce such teachers it can remove obstacles to the gospel. Such as the obstacle of thinking that those guys actually represent Christianity.
I know it seems divisive to some but these money grubbing charlatans should not be associated with the true Christ.
Adam & Eve both sinned in The Fall.
Adam & Eve were both made in the image of God.
Adam & Eve both had equal value as image bearers of God.
The serpent purposefully & specifically chose to manipulate Eve.
Eve, and women in general, are the weaker vessel.
Adam’s sin is especially egregious because he failed to lead & protect the helper made suitable for him, Eve.
I think @sovereignbrah & @LilaGraceRose, or at least I’d hope, would both agree on this.
@ConstitRepub@godlywomanhood Should a woman who is being beaten up by her husband, her children aren't safe and need to be removed for safety, stay with that person or divorce?
@Andiemightwrite @godlywomanhood Problem is, she does and at an alarming rate with no regard. To her it is totally ok to say these things and just ignore the consequences
That's a bit embarrassing. He's a great QB and his hard work and dedication got him there, no one else not an imaginary person watching over him. He's too busy starving thousands of children in other countries while he's just chucked a ball round for a bit. 🤦♂️

Andy is brilliant & a master communicator which makes him a master manipulator. Listeners want to give him the benefit of the doubt out of respect. He keeps one foot close enough to the line so he can retreat if backlash becomes too strong and claim “misunderstanding.”
@cjphillips66@ryanvisconti Wasn't this passage a later addition, not found in early versions. I'm all with you on being less hateful but using passages that are dubious probably isn't a great idea.
@godlywomanhood@punishedkimbo According to the Bible, one of the curses of the woman was that the man would "rule over the woman."
I do not rule over my wife unless it is absolutely necessary in my opinion.
A man who does not realize that this curse over the woman should not be enjoyable, should be pitied.
