What a day in Winston-Salem! 🎉

We’re officially open in the Triad, and we couldn’t be more grateful. A huge thank you to the Winston-Salem Chamber for leading our ribbon cutting ceremony and to all our industry friends who came out to celebrate with us.

This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our Triad team—their hard work, passion, and vision have shaped this space into something truly special.

We’re excited to continue building meaningful partnerships and creating environments that inspire here in Winston-Salem.

🍂 The first day of fall reminds us how color, texture, and light shape the way we experience a space.

Much like nature, design invites us to pause, notice, and connect. We’re inspired by our partners at HBF Textiles and their Moments of Wander collection—proof that materials can capture the feeling of a season and bring it indoors.

Whether in a workplace, school, or community setting, thoughtful design has the power to create balance, warmth, and inspiration.

✨ First impressions matter. ✨

Design and furniture in reception areas shape how people perceive company culture, prestige, and employee pride, and those impressions ripple into recruitment, brand identity, and even retention. Aesthetics, comfort, and light all affect mood and set the tone for the experience that follows.

We never overlook these spaces. From warm seating to thoughtful details, we design entryways that welcome, inspire, and reflect the heart of each organization.

At JTI’s Raleigh headquarters, every detail was considered to create a space where people want to gather, connect, and collaborate.

The Allsteel Scout collection plays a central role in this vision. With its clean lines, adaptable forms, and approachable aesthetic, Scout bridges the gap between casual and professional, whether in a café, breakout area, or collaborative hub.

In collaboration with JTI’s team, Interior Elements helped bring this vision to life, pairing product expertise with design insight to ensure the space feels both beautiful and functional. The result is more than furniture; it’s a workplace that fosters connection, culture, and community.

From classrooms to commons, every corner of a school tells a story about how students learn, collaborate, and grow.

This project in Littleton, NC, reflects our approach to whole-school solutions, bringing together flexible furniture, vibrant finishes, and thoughtful layouts that support every part of the student experience.

We don’t just furnish schools; we partner with educators to design environments that inspire creativity, foster connection, and adapt to the future of learning.

Big moves in Charleston! 🌴

We are delighted to introduce Bethany Watson, our new VP of Market Development, in our Charleston office.

"After 16 years in the commercial flooring industry, I’m thrilled to join the amazing team at Interior Elements as the VP of Market Development in Charleston, SC!

It’s an honor to take this next step with a company I’ve long admired, and one that shares my passion for creating inspiring and functional spaces. I’m especially excited to reconnect with friends, clients, and industry partners throughout the Charleston area.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, Austin, and our two kids, Samantha (17) and Parker (12). We’re often exploring outdoors, hiking, or cheering the kids on from the sidelines. Samantha is a senior in high school and a dedicated track and cross-country runner, while Parker, a 7th grader, keeps us busy with soccer and golf."

Our Raleigh team recently gathered for a happy hour hosted by our friends at Allsteel and HON. 🍾

Between rounds of product bingo and plenty of laughs, we got to dive deeper into the breadth of solutions offered across the HNI family of brands. Events like these not only sharpen our product knowledge but also strengthen the sense of collaboration and connection within our team.

Big thanks to Allsteel and HON for making learning both fun and engaging—we’re excited to bring these insights back into the spaces we design.

Meet Andrew Irvin, our Operations Manager in Greenville, SC. Since 2021, he’s been the steady hand keeping projects on track and clients smiling.

“I enjoy walking into an empty space, then seeing what’s been built at the end of the day and the client’s reaction to it.”

A Danville, IL native and Navy veteran, Andrew brings discipline, creativity, and attention to detail into every project. Outside of work, he and his wife Jessica (a former IE team member) stay busy raising their four kids. He also finds time for woodworking, 90’s comedies, and the music of Flogging Molly.

We’re thankful for the energy and perspective Andrew brings to our Greenville team.

Golden hour, great company, and a shared passion for design.

Our Birmingham design team recently enjoyed a beautiful evening together, made possible by our long-time Allsteel representative, Whitney Simon, who graciously organized and hosted the event.

Team building moments like this strengthen more than just relationships; they reinforce the trust, collaboration, and creative energy that define our culture. Partnering with Allsteel means working alongside people who share our values, our commitment to excellence, and our belief that strong connections lead to outstanding results.

From vibrant learning spaces to a state-of-the-art worship center, our recent work at Lake Church Academy in Florida reflects how thoughtful design can enrich both education and community connection.

K–12 environments shape young minds, fostering curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. Worship spaces, meanwhile, provide a place for reflection, inspiration, and togetherness. When these two worlds share a campus, design becomes the bridge—creating spaces where people of all ages can learn, grow, and belong.

We’re proud to have been part of a project that will impact lives every day, from the first school bell to the final note of Sunday’s song.
