Happy Passover to Jewish Londoners and everyone celebrating.
Last week I joined ZSV in Stamford Hill - supporting over 1,400 families with essential food parcels, helping families celebrate with dignity.
Thank you to London’s Jewish communities for all you do for our city.
Thank you for visiting our Hatzola base today. It was a privilege to welcome you and share the vital work of our volunteers.
We are grateful for your support and your strong stance against antisemitism.
In the wake of the attack in Golders Green overnight, Chief Executive Michael Wegier met the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, Health Secretary of State Wes Streeting and Communities Secretary Steve Reed, together with communal partners and local MPs. They discussed concrete steps to safeguard the Jewish community and accelerate government action to tackle antisemitism.

I joined @perayahmet and @SadiqKhan in a visit to @Hatzola to share solidarity across Hackney, Haringey and London.
I am proud to live in a place where synagogue and mosque, people of all faiths and none, live, work and find strength together side by side.
#NoPlaceforHate
For decades, Hatzola has provided a vital, life-saving service to Londoners.
I was in Stamford Hill yesterday with @SadiqKhan, @CaroWoodley and @PerayAhmet to stand with their volunteers.
There can be no place for antisemitism in our city — we stand with our Jewish communities.
The Jewish community is our community - in London, people of all faiths and none should be able to live peacefully alongside each other.
I was humbled to visit Hatzola ambulance service today.
We stand together against antisemitic hatred - we’ll always reject those who seek to divide us.
This is a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.
My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news.
Antisemitism has no place in our society.
Anyone with any information must come forward to the police.
We are deeply saddened and shocked by the senseless attack in the early hours of this morning at the Hatzola Northwest ambulance base.
Hatzola NW, along with all Hatzola organisations, provides life-saving services without discrimination, regardless of faith or background. It is extremely distressing and difficult to comprehend that such a vital service could be targeted and attacked in such a way.
We are working closely with the police and relevant support agencies to ensure the safety and security of our premises and resources, so that we can continue to respond swiftly to emergencies.
Honoured to attend the Chanukah reception at @10DowningStreet, marking the festival through faith and community, and reflecting on Chanukah’s message of light overcoming darkness in the shadow of the antisemitic terror attack in Sydney.
Proud to share our report on the National Health Programme for Charedi Communities, delivered with @NHSEngland and local partners. Five engagement events, 12 publications and a new national working group have helped bring vital health support to families across the UK. Read more on our blog: https://t.co/T7wuZfU4S2
Pleasure to host Ed Kirk, Head of School Improvement @SalfordCouncil, on a visit to our schools. He joined lessons, met pupils and staff, and shared thoughtful guidance with leaders. Really positive engagement, strengthening our partnership.
Great to welcome Cllr @RobertAChapman to visit several of our schools and community organisations. We had constructive discussions about how the Council can better support local families, education settings and community services. Grateful for the time taken and the willingness to engage.
Great to take part in @ISC_schools Celebrating Partnerships event in the House of Commons. A real pleasure to meet colleagues from across the sector. Grateful for their continued support for our families and schools, and for championing the needs of minority communities.
Yesterday I joined the Jewish Community Council of Gateshead for a discussion and a walk round Bensham.
We stand with them in this time of grief and will work together to root out antisemitism from our society.
Every community must be safe in Britain.
We are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific terrorist attack during Yom Kippur. Thank you @mayorofhackney, @perayahmet, @10DowningStreet and @metecoban92 for reaching out and offering reassurance and extra patrols.
👥 Last night @Shomrim welcomed Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp MP @CPhilpOfficial to Stamford Hill.
🛡️ He heard first-hand from volunteers about their tireless efforts to keep the community safe.
🎥 The Shadow Home Secretary also viewed footage of horrific antisemitic assaults and discussed the rise in Antisemitism
🙏 Thank you to @InterlinkFDN and local councillors from @HackneyCouncil for their support.
The needs of Charedi women are often overlooked in discussions about maternity care. Thanks to Sarah Weiss of the Interlink Foundation for explaining the importance of making maternity care respectful and inclusive. https://t.co/V4jq4g1rxs #BTAW2025#GoodMaternityCareForAll
