Cardano is ranked #1 on @MessariCrypto Gainers by Stablecoin Marketcap, up 60.8%.
Stablecoins on Cardano are growing. And soon, treasury withdrawals will be available in USDCx.
The infrastructure is ready.
Stablecoin update!
Intersect has minted $9m+ in USDCx this week under our administration of Cardano’s Critical Integrations budget.
Earlier this year we also minted across USDM and USDA, using Cardano-native stables to meet contract & milestone obligations for integrations signed to date.
All supported through close coordination with our Pentad partners @Cardano_CF@emurgo_io@IOGroup@midnightfdn
This also marks an important milestone as we close in on enabling the use of Cardano-native stablecoins for vendors under our administration.
As previously stated, here is the current hard fork compatible release of Ogmios, just released.
https://t.co/ygxX9nuWrd
This Ogmios fork is hosted under the IntersectMBO repositories as an interim measure, allowing the hard fork to progress on PreProd while providing additional time for the original Ogmios owner to review the changes before any merging back to the original branch ahead of the Mainnet hard fork enactment.
Reminder: PreProd HF ratification is now expected May 31, with enactment June 5.
This is not such a well-kept secret, but worth shouting about a little.
For all future successful withdrawals Intersect will be offering a clear and easy path for proposers under our administration to convert their ada to a Cardano native stable. Intersect will support vendors through our relationships with key exchanges and our native stablecoin issuers if requested and as soon as a withdrawal is approved.
Working through this is complex. It's far from an easy service to offer and has a myriad of cost implications, but Intersect is in a unique position to make inroads here, and we'd being doing the ecosystem a disservice not to build this out. Stimulating our stablecoins and to make it easier for vendors to plan and budget against, is a must-solve area.
What Intersect is building out now is the step from Treasury to funded contract - with vendors being able to drawdown their stablecoin of choice once they hit their milestones.
A lot of the upfront headache will be addressed, but @InASingleWord and @blinklabs_io documented their experience and challenges really well, and raises important factors to consider as a recipient of treasury funds and once a vendor has stables in their custody. See here https://t.co/dC6sZLCcBT
We'll keep doing more on this front, but the good news is there'll be a holistic path from Treasury award in ada to stablecoin moving forward!
Plutus Cost Model update proposal now live on Mainnet!
Having progressed through SanchoNet, Preview and PreProd test networks during March, April and May respectively, the Plutus Cost Model GA is now live on Mainnet.
The main effect of the update will be to enable new Plutus primitives in Plutus V1, V2 and V3 and to ensure consistency between Plutus V1, V2 and V3. It will also make changes to some existing Plutus primitives.
Pre-HF:
Increases to some existing primitives. DApps and developers please make sure that your current mainnet settings will not be negatively impacted. Testing on Preview and PreProd has been highly encouraged throughout.
Post-HF:
This update introduces some new primitives that will only become available following enactment of the hard fork to protocol version 11.
We would like to acknowledge the @IntersectTSC and the Parameter Committee for their role in overseeing the progression of this update, with testing and benchmarking conducted under the full oversight of these two bodies.
This proposal requires DRep and CC votes.

Hydra Voting for the 2026 Budget Process is now open.
From today until 12 June, DReps can review and vote on proposals submitted through the Intersect budget process using the Hydra Voting platform.
Over the past weeks, proposers, reviewers, DReps, and community members have contributed feedback, discussion, and refinements across a wide range of proposals. That review phase has now concluded, and proposals are locked ahead of voting.
To progress through the process, proposals must reach:
✅ 67% approval of participating stake within Ekklesia
Community discussion remains open throughout voting and can continue helping inform DRep decision-making.
If you are participating in governance:
• review proposals carefully
• engage with proposers
• ask questions
• contribute constructively
Governance participation is strongest when informed by open discussion and active community engagement.
📅 Voting closes: 12 June 2026 - 12:00 UTC

The Final Feedback and Review of the Cardano Budget 20206 process facilitated by Intersect has now closed.
The 69 submitted proposals will now be locked ahead of the Hydra Voting phase which begins May 26, 2026 at 12PM UTC.
DReps and ada holders with a stake address can continue to provide feedback to inform the voting phase but proposers will no longer be able to edit their proposals based on further feedback. This ensures integrity of the voting phase by ensuring what is voted on is not changed mid-vote.
Thank you to all proposers and everyone who has provided feedback to date. Your participation is what makes this process work.

REMINDER:
The FInal Feedback and Review phase on the Hydra Voting platform closes Friday, May 22 2026 at 1200 UTC 🕛
Your feedback matters.
Proposers can still update and improve their proposals based on community feedback, but only until the feedback window closes. At which point they will be locked ahead of voting.
After that, comments can still help inform DRep decisions, but proposals themselves can no longer be changed.
If there’s something you want clarified, strengthened, challenged, or improved, now is the time to say it.

Cardano Budget 2026 🧵
As part of the Cardano Budget 2026 Process, facilitated by Intersect, proposal creators were offered the opportunity to submit a short 2-minute introduction to their proposal.
These introductions have been collated into 3 separate videos below, complete with timestamps so you can find proposals more easily 👇️
Notice for db-sync operators
We identified a bounded issue affecting derived epoch aggregate values (epoch.out_sum and epoch.fees) in db-sync versions 13.7.0.0–13.7.0.4.
The impact is limited to reporting, analytics, accounting, and dashboard use cases relying on these aggregate values following restart or upgrade events.
Importantly:
➡️ Cardano consensus and chain operation are unaffected
➡️ Canonical chain data remains intact
➡️ No ledger state, balances, or on-chain history are impacted
➡️ Recovery is straightforward as affected values can be fully recomputed
Mitigations are available now, with a permanent fix planned for db-sync 13.7.1.0.
