May these words of truth bring us encouragement and hope today.
Using the words from Romans 8, this is the first part of a prayer, which comes from Sharon, an Interserve Partner, and social worker, serving in South East Asia.
"I marvelled at the words of an old hymn this week, 'Grant us wisdom, Grant us courage for the facing of this hour!', words that seem so appropriate for this moment.

A prayer excerpt from an Interserve Worker in Central Asia:
As you pray, live and love, may the Lord shine through you to bring the life and hope that only comes from Jesus to those that God has placed around you.

As you pray, live and love, may you be more aware of the hindrances to cast off, may your longing for Christ increase, and may you allow Jesus to transform every part of your life.
A prayer excerpt from an Interserve Worker in Central Asia.
As you pray, live and love, may your eyes be fixed on our Lord who gives us faith, strength, peace and hope, so that the light would shine brighter in our communities and in our world.
It's amazing how wise and relevant these words from Martin Luther are to our present situation.
These words are a good reminder to encourage the Christian community, about caution, good sense and dependence upon God — it calls for a God - fearing faith.
As we face each day, may we find ways to integrate the Gospel into every area of our lives, and to love our neighbours in every area of theirs.
