We need a revolution at the next election!
We need to get back to some Liberal values and get away from extremism, left or right. That is why we are in this current mess!
Vote #Libdem#libdemrevolution
It is incredible that our parliament can pass this illegal Migration bill with so little wider public criticism. It is shaming. What have we become? Has our right wing press cowed us into this degree of inhumanity and betrayal of civilised values?
Labour in 2020: Two-child benefit cap is “obscene and inhumane”.
Labour last month: Two-child benefit cap is “heinous”.
Labour now: Keeping the obscene, inhumane and heinous two-child benefit cap.
Labour simply can’t be trusted.
Abolish inheritance tax? This in a country where bad nutrition means we have among the smallest five year olds in Europe reports the Lancet - but Farnborough is the busiest private airport. One in ten flights are private. Let’s get real about wealth inequality.
Leave the EU, your nearest neighbour, and lose 4% of GDP.
Join a trading bloc on the other side of the planet to gain 0.08% of GDP.
Definition of “success” from this failing self-harming post-truth Government #BBCLauraK
Staggering that #Starmer’s Labour wouldn’t even lift the 2 child cap on child benefit. Unspecified “reforms” are no substitute for urgently needed public investment. And if he doesn’t want to borrow, he could levy wealth tax on super rich - there’s no hope here #BBCLauraK
The Sun achieved its aim. It set out to wound the BBC whatever the collateral damage and however contestable its “ journalism”. The result is one more step to a world the right cherishes - where there is no trusted source of news. And the BBC’s own OTT coverage made it worse.
Former ministers Nadine Dorries and Jacob Rees-Mogg are among seven Conservative MPs accused of running a coordinated campaign to interfere with the committee’s investigation into Boris Johnson.
Our amendment will be considered for a vote in Parliament today.
Every time there is a vote on Conservative sleaze and scandal, Rishi Sunak is too weak to take a stand.
If Sunak doesnt vote today and show there must be consequences for these shameful actions, his pledge to govern with integrity will lie in tatters.
Isn't it funny what you can get away with - while talking nonsense with a posh english accent...
RT if you are embarrassed that #RishiSunak is our #PM.
What?! Absolutely shocking from @UKLabour - expelling 44-year member @Neal_Compass for the crime of supporting cross-party co-operation. Tribalist crackdowns like this are the opposite of the grown-up, progressive, pluralist politics we desperately need.

#PrivilegesCommittee report shows Johnson's cronies propped up a serial liar then attacked an independent Parliamentary committee for finding against him. Sunak, these are your MPs & even one of your Govt Ministers. If you let this slide, you're complicit

@CBTransport So shouldn't the integrated transport system of the London area be replicated in the rest of the UK?
What a radical thought, but imagine...
The is absolutely no future in more cars on our tiny countries roads, is there?
What an anti British tribe the Tories have become. An ex PM expelled from the House of Commons as a liar. A current PM and Home Secretary determined to breach the rule of law at home and abroad over Rwanda. They are a national and international embarrassment.
I believe that Nadine Dorries and Jacob Rees Mogg (and others) should now go through a privileges committee review for their unwarranted accusations, insults and intimidations in contempt of our parliamentary processes. The composition of the Committee should remain unchanged with the same Chair Person and Members. Its constitution should be amended: one weeks research and preparation, starts immediately, must report within two months to parliament, no defence lawyers involved, the committee should be able to impose penalties on members of parliament for contempt. Lets start reigning in the idiot politicans who are doing so much damage to our nation.
