A mainland Chinese arrived from Nigeria to Hong Kong was found with 0.065kg ivory, 0.025kg rhino horn, 0.029kg pangolin scale. He was sent to prison for 2 weeks. Quantity was small sentence was short, but is a good deterrent. Not worth going to prison for bringing in trinkets

Happened today at Kibera Law Courts: A #rhino horn case did not proceed today as the court was not sitting.

Henry Mokua and two others were arrested with 600 grams of ivory. The case will next come up on 21.1.2019.
