@prodnose If you go up first time, the championship is the most fun league in the world as a bigger club. It was a good reset for #nufc twice, go down and don't get up, the reset feels like one of kier starmers & you are just fooling yourself
@BenInRushcliffe@politixintheuk Farage isn't giving a donor a free pass into no10 or spending taxpayers money on huge wages for public sector union members
@fabneil@politixintheuk I'd like to see the civil service back to 1997 levels, roll back the state but, the treasury aren't losing any revenue is they cut vat on fuel to 14%
@fabneil@politixintheuk The money shouldn't be relied upon because the additional tax revenue is a big bonus to Rachel from customer services. When fuel was £1.30 the VAT was 22p, now at £190, the vat is 32p. She could put vat down to 14p and receive the same revenue.
@wuds100@TobiasByfield@politixintheuk I place in Gary lineker and Zach polankski's house but I think it's fairly sensible to place them in areas where people have voted for the policies which have encouraged migrants to arrive here. Placing the mean Green voting constituencies probably makes it safer all around.
@fabneil@politixintheuk My main concerned me energy prices is not actually fuel but far more the problem of industrial energy pricing.
The government can change the VAT on fuel at any time. It doesn't have to be 20%. VAT on domestic energy is 5% for instance.
@fabneil@politixintheuk The government do not set the price, however they do set the rate of vat.
After the cost of extraction refining and delivery, the government to making the most money.
