My taya passed away a week ago. He left behind a widow, daughter, and son. The son (50) is mentally and physically challenged and doesn’t know how to process grief. He does know about death and burial.
Last night he was sitting with his elder sister and watching an old Indian movie. One of my taya’s favourite songs came on, “O saathi re tere bina bhi kya jeena.”
He knew all the words and sang along, with tears flowing constantly.
I hope it gave him some relief.
Slept for an hour, had the best post dinner nap. And the World Cup is still where I left. If this was cricket Mohsin Naqvi would have left with the trophy by now
Allah knows your pain, your tears, and your struggles. He sees your efforts. Allah has not left you He is preparing something good for you. Sometimes hardships are a blessing, and sometimes they are a lesson.
if i've to tell you something about me, i'd say i love sitting quietly with another human being under a tree while life passes gently around both of us
Sardars in sindh raped a girl infront of her parents, elite in Lahore raping a young girl multiple times even she died during abortion, acid attack on a doctor by a lift operator and then a husband killed his wife for not having sex with him. One week and women suffering.
Arafat days are from 18th May to 27th may. Be delusional with your prayers. Ask maghfirah bcz it's the high time Allah grant Jannah and try to fast on 26th may as it will erase all your sins from past one year and coming one year. Increase your dhikr. Do not miss your chance.
hate that culture where old age guard uncle open doors for everyone at every brand or even at some pharmacies...can we just stop that & open doors for ourselves??
Women are the manager of the home, not a servant for you to say, “Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that? Why isn’t the house clean?” A woman is like a flower. A flower must be cared for and protected, and she will enrich you with her color, fragrance, and qualities.
I remember before 2-3 years when I felt anxious, I could write so much about everything I felt, about the triggers, the people, the feelings but now, even though I feel a lot more anxious, I simply can't write about it, maybe I'm tired, maybe everything's beyond words now.
I love how aik moment kay liye bhi nahi laga kay hum jeeet saktay hain. As you grow old you realise that constant disappointment is better than little episodes of hope
