My dad is a lifelong tennis fan. He has never really been a supporter of Novak but over the years, he has warmed to him considerably.

Yesterday, we were watching the match and when Novak went two sets down, I said “I don’t think he will win this match.”

My dad replied: “He can do anything.”

He smiled, sat up straight in his armchair and he watched, in hope, until the very last point.

It didn’t happen this time but Novak has made even sceptics believe that anything is possible.
