@BlackInMH@yyalipende@BPTwellbeing I have embraced my diagnosis, and now I want to support others in the BIPOC community to embrace their differences. I'm currently in my 2nd year of grad school in mental health counseling, and I plan on specializing in ADHD in women and children of color. (2/2)
@BlackInMH@yyalipende@BPTwellbeing Thank you,@yyalipende, for sharing your journey. I was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year at 36, and it has changed my life for the better. I can now connect the dots to my past when I felt different from my friends & family and why I think the way I do. (1/2)
I will maintain my budget with the help from the budget by paycheck workbook by @thebudgetmom, and I will continue to lean on my faith to get me through. Wishing everyone a joyous and healthy 2021! #powersheets#budget
I took the last few days to reflect on 2020; it was a challenging year for me, but it could have been much worse. I ended a relationship that just began; I was on unemployment for 95% of 2020, had some minor health issues, and got some not great news about my father's health.
and if this were ten years ago, I wouldn't be able to say that.
I'm looking forward to 2021 and the possibility. I will continue on my route, heading forward and not backward. I will crush my goals this year with help from my @PowerSheets I will work towards my five-year plan;
A big part of me is looking forward to the fall and the last four months of the year. It will look different, but all I can do is put my trust in God, and all things will work out at the end. I hope everyone has a great September and stays safe!
This year has been a real roller coaster. The last month, and a half, has been challenging for me on a personal level. Been dealing with some health-related issues (not related to COVID), but I'm grateful that things are finally settling down for me.
Below are the books that I plan on reading this month.
1) Heartless by #marissameyer (Ancient Runes)
2) Talking to Strangers by #malcolmgladwell (Charms)
3) Circe by #madelinemiller (History of Magic)
4) House of Earth and Blood by #sarahjmass (Transfiguration)
This is my first #owlsreadathon2020 and I am excited! My career is Trader of Magical Tomes (a.k.a a bookseller) and my O.W.L.’s are Ancient Runes, Charms, History of Magic and Transfiguration. #magicalreadathon2020
@tayari I haven't touched my Kindle in a while BUT I still purchase ebooks 😆 if there is a book that is cheaper via ebook ($1.99, 99 cents, etc) I will buy the kindle version. If it's the same price as a physical book, I buy the book instead, also If I want to make notes, highlight, etc
@JonitaLDavis So... They want these law students to apply for internships and later on accept jobs with ”not qualified” and ”lacking in knowledge” Judges. So we can have more unqualified individuals in office at a city, state or national level. 😒😒
Picked up my bib on Monday and stayed for the NYRR Staten Island Half Membership Course Strategy meeting. I'm in wave 2, 8:30am start. Look me up! Bib #8211👇🏾👇🏾
