I am headed to FL today, just for the weekend, but it’s my first time leaving my son for multiple nights in a row & first time leaving him & my husband alone. He’s only spent 1 night at a time with my parents a total of 4 times & he’s 2 yrs 7 mo. Anyways, the anxiety is high🥲

So Christmas Eve & Christmas Day are going to be spent alone the 3 of us & delay til next week hopefully seeing my family.. I’m disappointed but feel like my husband is thrilled because the Lions play in the afternoon tomorrow & he’d rather be at our house for it 😅

So, do kids bring home an illness (more than a general cold) every Christmas break for 10 years straight?
My son brought home stomach bug last Christmas break, his first year in daycare, and this year he brought home Flu A.

@Boston_Biddy Here to say that I feel the same way & I don’t think many people would admit it, so thank you for that 🫶🏻 my 2 year old is tough more often than not too & has always been & we don’t have help so some days dropping him off a daycare for a bit does feel like I can breathe for a min

I am in charge of AM snack for the week for a class of 16 toddlers and I’m stressed about it so I definitely bought too much.

@E_OrdinaryGirl I’m still using a cart cover 2 years later for this very reason 😂 but he sometimes finds a way to still touch the cart. There hasn’t been a recent case at school. The only thing I can think of is that I took him to 2 different parks last week.

@caffeinatedxmom When my son was a baby I did buy a couple from Amazon after seeing recommendations on here. They were Aablexema Baby and HAPIU Rayon from Bamboo Baby.

My husband, toddler and I are going to Boston this weekend. Just for a quick weekend trip and I’m sure I will be sad that we don’t have more time. Anyway, as someone who has never lived in a city with public transit, I am always so confused by the subway system.

@E_OrdinaryGirl We have Head Start & “great start readiness” which have specific criteria, but a lot of the districts also have other preschool programs too. Not sure about cost or not for those though
