#madarakaday2026
As we celebrate 63 years of self-governance, let us remain united in our commitment to building a safe, secure, peaceful, and prosperous Kenya for present and future generations.
We honor the sacrifices of those who paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.
16 lives. 16 dreams. 16 families. 16 names.🕊️🕊️
We call for systemic reforms to ensure that schools remain safe spaces for every child, with stronger safety standards, emergency preparedness, and accountability measures to prevent such tragedies from happening again.
#menstrualhygieneday
At Inuamama Mjane, we are breaking menstrual stigma through education, dignity kits, and advocacy for policies that end period poverty in Kenya. Every girl deserves access to menstrual health, sanitation, and dignity. #EndPeriodPoverty#PeriodDignity
A fun fact about the menstrual hygiene date:
May 28 was chosen because it symbolizes the average menstrual cycle:
📷May = the 5th month → representing the average 5 days of menstruation
📷28th day → representing the average 28-day menstrual cycle

May the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and faith inspire calmness, resilience, and positivity in your life this Eid al-Adha.
