New article coming up. I have two topics I’m sure you will find interesting. I’m trying to firgure out which one I drop first.

Let’s see how it goes!

[Kamil Afolabi @kkwinsome_]

@dolapolai @FadlullahiO @Chiefolakunle @_sxlaam @TeenageMutantAC @dolapo_oguns @femii_t @RusyysuR @Tolumhen Definitely one of the best gathering I've been to, super educative! Blessed to be among this edition and looking forward to be part of the next. Big ups Dolapo lai👑

@dolapolai Definitely a meme.

Lastly: Big ups to me 🌚🙇🏻‍♂️

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

@tolumhen @kkwinsome_ @femii_t Shared some greater insights with us.

@tolumhen told us the reason why he is anti-NFT (we managed to change his mind)

@femii_t told us the impact of gaming on the future metaverse

@kkwinsome_ took us down the memory lane of NFTs

S/O to the co-founder of @Velox, can't thank him enough. He gave us food.

To round up the event, we took a tour around the Museum, which was another much more exciting part of the meet-up.

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

The meetup won't be fulfilled if there wasn't an assignment to work on; to this end, I asked everyone an important question which is “what product or solution can they think of that will solve a problem within the NFT, metaverse, and web3.0 space”

About the environment, the meetup was held at Fela’s Heritage Museum located at Nepa road, Sapon, Abeokuta. We chose the location because of its serenity; it supported thinking and facilitated learning.

Beyond the learning part of this meetup, one thing that stood out was the fact everyone got an opportunity to connect and network, the environment fueled that also.

(everyone networking).

Everyone paid utmost attention to each speaker and gave constructive objections when there was a need.

The meetup was so interesting that at some point, we lost track of time.

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

@FadlullahiO discussed “role will marketing play In the adoption of NFTs and how will it drive us to decentralization?”

An interesting point was when he described how marketing data will change.

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

An initial plan was to allocate 15 mins to each person but I eventually didn't do that, as some speaker's topics were more intricate and required a full breakdown, and to show that worked out, @FadlullahiO spent 30 mins plus lecturing.

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

Each of these topics came as a question because I wanted to be sure the answers to these questions hit the right spot, eg, “What's Web 3.0 about and what should we envision to happen in the coming decade?” @duboye_ spoke on this and we learned a lot.

Listening to @duboye_ speak

[dolapolai (Dolapo Olayiwola) @dolapolai]

The purpose of this meetup was to broaden our knowledge about each aspect of blockchain mentioned above and see how best to tap into its opportunities.

I structured the event In such a way that every person invited was given a topic to research.

On the 15th of this month, I organized a meet-up with some of my close friends who are creatives.

We discussed Nft, Metaverse, and web3.0. We also argued the opportunities blockchain has to offer to Africans and the world
