It’s a shame creative teams don’t get fought for at stage door. I want to see a Lighting Designer sign an unwieldy A1 sized lighting plan or have a set designer be handed a replica of the ‘chair seen in act two’ handcrafted by a fan or Followspot op’s be asked to sign plot sheets
Neurodiverse people!!!!!!
can we make a thread of things we thought everyone experienced until we found out we were neurodiverse and it was just a neurodiverse thing? I am so intrigued !!

@MarquisOfSham @AlexStenhouse_ Thanks @MarquisOfSham! Hi @AlexStenhouse_, I'm a theatrical lighting designer with a huge passion for innovation and creativity around subjects like this. Happy to talk all things lighting, however perhaps you could check out the gorgeous designs from @gracevenning!
I’m so angry at our sorry excuse for a government. Theatreland has gone to great lengths, effort and expense to ensure the safety of company and audiences alike whilst busy streets, pubs + transport have been rammed with no Covid monitoring at all. Devastated. #TheatresAreSafe
Design is powerful and political, but too often theatre sets merely perpetuate the sensibilities of long-dead writers, not those of today’s audiences, says designer @RosieMaeElnile – it's time to embrace radical concepts https://t.co/u8yOmjayTE
So the streets of soho can be absolutely rammed with no social distancing but the theatre I work at at the end of this road can’t open because of social distancing?
