Please be advised: Inventory Wolf will be shutting down.
Data sync and notifications will remain up for the time being. Users are encouraged to migrate to other inventory management systems.
Thanks for everything and best wishes!
@KG4GGG Yes, that is understandable. It seems most people either just use a spreadsheet, or a clipboard in the basement. Even during the pandemic when a lot of new preppers were coming into the fold and we were advertising and updating the app, we just weren't seeing the numbers.
@KG4GGG We are actively supporting the current version of the app, which we believe can really help people prepare for disasters, but app sales haven't been sufficient to support making further updates to the app.
@h14mcald I'm going to guess that you meant 'inventory' instead of 'contacts'. There's no direct method to print an inventory from the app. What people are doing is exporting to CSV file, then printing it from a spreadsheet program.
Interesting stuff. Do remember that there are great ways to organize your preps! Like with @InventoryWolf and other apps you can find here:

Definitely, one of the best ones I've used. I talk about @InventoryWolf as well as other inventory apps for #preppers here, let me know what you think:

🔶Wolfy's Tip of the Week🔶
Keep knowledge of your preps within the family and select trusted friends. If you tell everyone about what you have and disaster strikes, you could have a mob of people at your door asking for help, or worse, demanding it.

@TheDigitalPrep Thanks for highlighting that event! Good to know that they log, and will hand over logs when asked just like any other email service. I wonder how easily the VPNs hand over their logs...
🔸Wolfy's Tip of the Week🔸
Get in shape. A disaster could require you to hike a distance under load, repair damaged roofs or windows, wade through water, construct a barricade, pull yourself out of a hole, run like hell, etc.
You'll need strength and cardio.

🔸Wolfy's Tip of the Week🔸
Get to know your neighbors before a disaster strikes. In an emergency, you will want to work together. Start by simply learning their names.\n\nYou don’t have to become best friends, but being familiar can go a long way in a bad situation.

@TrocarRogue A desktop version is definitely on the ToDo List.
A version that syncs off a local network is on the Ideas List - I see how it would be an attractive option (assuming you have the infrastructure for it.) I'll need to research it a bit and see what all would be involved.
