We are excited to announce Shahar Regev as the winner of this season's Sandra Fivecoat Memorial Composition Contest, 35 & under category! Her winning work, “Every Song", is a beautiful and fascinating setting of the popular poem by Federico García Lorca.
Regev, a native of Israel, has a diverse catalog of compositions, including solos, chamber works, orchestral, choral music, arrangements, and music for theater. Many of her works focus on social subjects, such as violence against women, indifference, & environmental changes.
