You guys have no idea how insane it sounds to us Norwegians when you say you’re rooting for us and hoping we’ll win the World Cup! There are fewer people in the whole of Norway than there are in London alone, and every single one of us couldn’t be prouder. Not just because of Haaland, but because of the entire team. They’re a team in every sense of the word! 💪🏻🇳🇴
If you don't celebrate your own traditions, then you will have to celebrate someone else's traditions.
The Norwegian team celebrates the right way and we all love it.
The Viking way. But also wearing the Cross of Christ with pride.
It's interesting how the entire Norwegian football culture decided to truly embrace their national heritage, and it's brought them further than ever before.
There is a lesson here somewhere.
I'm not American, and I never will be. But I love America, and I want to wish all my American brothers and sisters a very happy 250th Independence Day. 🇺🇸
To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

My entire life, the left demanded we become more like Europe. Then our cousins from Europe came here and were stunned to learn that America is actually the best place on earth. There will never be another like it. We have to protect it at all costs.
Our first contribution to the rebeautification of the USA, here in Washington DC.
As Frenchmen, we are honored to serve the friendship between our two great nations.
What happens when you die:
They divide up your shit.
They summarize your life in 500-1000 words.
People who knew you less say sorry to people who knew you more.
Everyone eats, drives home, and wakes up the next day and goes to work.
Whatever you’re worried about won’t be in those 500 words.
You can dare greatly or not at all, but you’re gonna die either way.
Might as well squeeze every motherfucking drop out.
@EliteOptions2 Hard agree on Moon Phases and Gann Angles. But volume? Volume is literally the fuel behind every move. Ignoring it is like reading price action without context. Most of these aren't bad tools, they're just misused by traders who never learned how to combine them with structure.
Matthew Henry on Job 31
Job resisted mistreating his servants by remembering that all people, regardless of rank or condition (or capacity of mind, or strength of body, or place in the world), are equally made by God and therefore must be treated justly and compassionately.
If you are a Christian, all of your pain will be erased.
Every heartache.
Every ruptured relationship.
Every regret.
Every consequence of sin.
Every unrighted wrong.
The King is coming.
Jesus will make everything right.
He has purchased your healing by a blood sacrifice.
