Seeing 700 by Xmas is realistic. last year I accrued quite a bit of debt making a big life change, and in January it’s was 630. I didn’t just go about paying off my debts. I did a few other things I’ll share here.

The first thing I did was apply the 15/3 rule. 15 days before, pay half; 3/4 days before pay the other half. This gives you incremental point increases. I accrued many points this way. I also pay at least $50-$75 more than minimum payment.

Now it appears I’m somewhere between 7 to 20 points away and I’m confident that I will have it before the end of summer. Once you have 700 points everything opens up for you. Especially in real estate. The key to a rich retirement is real estate.

Then I went about increasing my credit line by finding companies like Wayfare and a firm and PayPal to give me thousands of dollars worth of credit that I never will use. I am actively working on getting the debts below 30%, guaranteeing a credit score of 700.

I basically did my best to pay off the least valuable credit cards. By summer I had paid off three credit cards. Now I was able to increase my amount of credit, Another way to boost your score. Do you want to keep your debts below 30% of the entire credit you have available.

I did my best to pay at least $50-$100 more than what was owed. I looked at the interest rate of every single credit card and I went about paying off the highest interest rates first. Anytime I came into some extra money I will put it towards the credit card.
