AIR INDIA PILOT REPORTEDLY TESTS POSITIVE FOR PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES AFTER 300-FT MID-AIR DROP

Air India flight AI2379, flying from Phuket to Delhi, reportedly dropped around 300 feet suddenly during turbulence on August 4, injuring 17 people.

The flight had 137 passengers and 8 crew members on board. Four crew members were among those injured.

Reports now claim the flight captain tested positive for psychoactive substances in a post-flight drug test. However, Air India says it has not yet received the test results.
