Lets talk about why honest management's may not be as exciting for the 2 quarter investors , but create value for shareholders in the long term
Honest management's traits :
1) Do not commit anything for the sake of it , as analysts on call are only looking for guidance so they can model their excel sheet and tell their boss " accha/kharab numbers "
2) talk less do more, styrenix has acquired a plant in Thailand , creating a platform for Asia , offices in Vietnam , Malaysia , Osaka and more , but most are interested in what is the realization of this quarter
3) One thing that I found interesting , management has a 50KT ABS capacity that goes live in this year , FY has already seen 4 months completed , and the management refused to comment on the specific month , because they know how challenging the environment is , it is a brownfield extension capex , they said if we give a fixed date and then we put our other stakeholders such as employees and workers at risk , they will still complete it in this year he committed , but refuse to put targets that create bad internal goals
These are the qualitiaves that creates a good management in my opinion , and yes we may not be right , who knows , but the idea is that in commodity businesses you want to be with the best managements with the right mindset , and that is never found in the managements that create hype !
@PRATIKBULANI555 Looks like steep inverse J curve on the P&L. Mr. Jonathan was too egoistic to reply on Manglore facility. Onwer on entire business and not a unit was the repeated response for investors worries. Hope management change brings the glory back. Not invested.
@a_basumallick Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I really like the new management focused on growibg the business. I'm expecting good business momentum in coming years. Although, there would be temp blip because of new capacity. Long term make sense!
"Everything is not DS sir"
I keep getting this comment under my posts. The thing is I mostly talk about the DS hand when I see it. So the comment is like telling a cardiologist "everything is not about the heart" under his posts, because the patient already has kidney disease.
The cardiologist will acknowledge the kidney issue but say he will talk about the heart because that's what is going to cause major issues now and that's his specialty. This is my answer to everyone who posts that one liner seeded to dilute my warnings on the DS.
Imagine the country to be a complex system like the body. Yes the body's genetics will predetermine something like heart disease. The issue is systemic. Agreed.
But if someone then warns the fast food, tobacco, and drinks companies are making him sick and helping the healthcare industry, it would be silly to argue and say "why blame them and their products, he already has heart disease."
Why?
Because he may already have heart disease, but if he's influenced by the fast food, tobacco, and drinks companies, keeps doing as they say in their ads, it will worsen his own condition and accelerate "regime change" on the body - that's death (and rebirth if you believe it.)
A doctor will warn you about dangers of colds, flus and lab created covid if you have an immune condition. Yes, your ailment is already there. You already have an issue. But if you give them a chance, the viruses will hijack your system badly utilizing your issue and do a regime change on your body.
Understood?
Remember my analogies and tell your friends why talking about the DS is important. Tell them "yes a country has issues but you can't ignore the outside hand that's trying to hijack the issues, amplify our problems, and institute a regime change."
@NDTVProfitIndia@AdityaD_Shah@PiyushS_07 What kind of expert this is? He said, didn't went through the Axis presentation yet and lecturing general gyan about only top figures from results. If you haven't already read it, why wven wasting time man? Is this a joke to you @NDTVProfitIndia
@anuragsingh_as Lastly, everything consider then markets would give very selective opportunity as ler your analysis. It might not meant for broader public. So, what are other alternatives if one follows asset allocation and continue with SIP. During 20%+ correction, one can always rebalance.
@anuragsingh_as As a retail, if one follows asset allocation I don't see any issue at all retail providing exit to FIIs or promoters. Let everyone make money so they will commit more when they see opportunity.
