Every three years reminds us that, all we need to do is study 100-120 companies deeply from various sectors and market gives us enough opportunities to play them in various cycles again and again!
Pretty much every business is cyclical (length of the cycle may vary) and what was not a good idea 2 years ago becomes a good idea now and vice-versa!
Some pessimism plays, some turnaround plays, some momentum/PEAD plays, you will have enough opportunities!
@stonks_sensei Bro bt honestly speaking the only factor which is in fully in your control is position size.... Have been deeply thinking abt this after listening to @swing_ka_sultan bhai's interviews and threads. RR and Magnitude are function of market and d actual stock FA and othr factors
This sets up what I call as traders conundrum:
Trade with tighter stops ->I get chopped up coz of volatility & win-rate drops sharply
Widen my stop to adjust for volatility ->potential upside (capped during tough mkt) doesnt justify the risk (wide SL)
Solutn ->wait for better mkt
