Hello datafam,
I recreated this churn analysis dashboard in Excel, applying the concepts from this live project. It was a great learning experience and I even added my own touch!

The honest truth is, a lot of us go through this. For me, I haven’t actively used SQL in a long time, it was easier to stay sharp back when I was teaching.
When you’re not actively using a tool, it’s easy to forget parts of it simply because….🧵
I studied microbiology, but today, I'm a Data Analyst.
No, I didn’t plan for it. I didn’t always know I’d end up here. The question of what will I do with my Microbiology certificate was a constant question. Especially in a country like Nigeria. But along the way, I realized something, your degree doesn’t have to define your career.
I started learning data analytics out of curiosity. The more I learned, the more I saw possibilities beyond Microbiology. I learned the skills, worked on projects, and now I'm building a career here.
A lot of people think their course of study locks them into a single path; It doesn’t. You can switch, you can start fresh.
If you’re stuck in a field that no longer excites you, know that change is possible. The first step is to start learning. You never know how far you'll go unless you start.
Your career is not one perfect job. It’s a portfolio.
Too many people are searching for that one dream role. The “perfect fit.” The forever job.
But that’s not how real careers are built.
Every role you take adds something—skills, credibility, networks, exposure. Some roles will stretch you. Others will give you stability. Some will be big bets. Others will just pay the bills.
It’s the blend that builds you. Not the title. Not the salary. Not the prestige.
Think like an investor. Stack wisely. Balance risk and reward.
One role might teach you strategy. Another might open doors. A third might give you the room to breathe. All of them matter.
Stop chasing perfection. Start curating your portfolio. Because in the long run, your experience mix is your real career capital.
Took the oath to serve and officially became a corp member yesterday.
Will definitely play my role in lifting Nigeria high and also make positive impacts.
