This Barca team, for all its flaws and problems, rocked up to the Parc des Princes, went toe to toe with arguably the best team in Europe and kept the contest alive until the final 10 minutes.

Of course, the defeat hurts. There are things to criticise and plenty to improve.

There’s also a LOT to appreciate about a team that refuses to go down without a fight.

Disappointed with the result, but certainly not disheartened by the performance.
